Patch notes for beta 0.2.2

 

Improvements

  • Removed chest drops from fields.
    • This is a part of rework meant to define the drop places for keys and chests.
      • Keys will now drop from fields.
      • Chests will drop from Tower of heroes.

 

  • Selling and removing items should retain you on the screen and improve the general flow.
    • You can now sell items directly after the battle.

 

  • When Journey onlines service is unavailable, you should now recieve information regarding the downtime when trying to log in instead of a default message.

 

  • Added player controlled adventurer sorting (by level and recent).

 

  • VFX focus effects – various buttons, abilities, turn order indicator.
    • Ability focus VFX added (When you select an ability, it glows).

  • Improved the speed of battles to make them more responsive.

 

  • Improved the visibility for the item power up levels in menus.

 

  • Tower of heroes loot balance – [Available after closed beta due to the closed beta not having an another Tower of heroes cycle.]
    • Added all chests to non boss levels as drops.
    • Reduced the amount of traveling points gained per level.
    • Increased the chance of chest or recruit ticked drop.
    • ~20% gold increase overall.

 

 

Bug fixes

  • Fixed end turn detection.

 

  • When selecting a chest to open, the button displays “open” properly.

 

  • You can now select another character from your battle formation, even if you have selected an ability.

 

Game balance

  • Adjusted the stats of the undead crypts boss, Lich to better bring him in line with the boss of the goblin forest.
  • Chests rework
    • Added a chance to recieve higher tier loot from lower tier chests.
      • Higher tier chests remain unchanged.
